Sutherlands Park 'F' Reserve

Project Details

At Sutherlands Park F Reserve, the existing sports lighting was fully upgraded to create a facility capable of hosting night football matches and training. The project introduced advanced LED floodlighting technology along with new supporting infrastructure, improving safety and visibility on the field while reducing energy consumption and ongoing operating costs.

The upgrade included a purpose-built floodlighting system designed to exceed amateur football lighting standards, providing bright, uniform illumination across the entire playing surface. A new distribution board was installed to manage power supply, additionally directional drilling was used to run conduits beneath the ground with minimal disturbance to the playing field. All redundant lighting infrastructure was also carefully decommissioned and removed from site.

Delivered to industry best practice, the new system achieves far greater light quality, consistency, and efficiency compared to the original installation. The result is a transformed Sutherlands F Reserve, now a high-quality venue for amateur football that enhances the sporting experience and supports the growth of the game locally within the community.
